Welcome to the Bak Mei kung fu site of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Bak Mei, also known as Pak Mei, Bai Mei, or White Eyebrow, is a southern style of kung fu that emphasizes a strong foundation with explosive movements that combine offence and defence.
Our instructor is Sifu Wilkie Wu, who has studied Bak Mei since 1963 and has taught Bak Mei in Vancouver since the 1970s.

April 21, 2011 - We will be having a Bak Mei Celebration & Reunion Dinner on the Thursday night before the Good Friday holiday and the Easter long weekend. The dinner will be held at Continental Seafood Restaurant at 11700 Cambie Rd, Richmond (near No. 5 Rd) at 6:30 pm.
All Bak Mei students, former students, new students, si-sooks, si-hings, si-dais, si-jehs, si-muis and significant others as well as family members are welcome to attend.
Please let Sifu Wilkie know as soon as possible whether you can make it as there may be a limit to the available seats.
March 1, 2011 - It is with great sorrow that Master Cheung Bing Lam (張炳霖), the last living son of Master Cheung Lai Chuen, passed away on February 17, 2011. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, students and grand-students.
The Bak Mei community has lost a great mentor and wealth of information.
January 30, 2011 - Our location has changed! Due to renovations in our building, our new location is 416 Columbia Street, between Pender and Hastings Streets, a couple blocks away from our previous location. See the map on Google Maps. You may find us during our scheduled class times.
January 9, 2011 - Tyler, Jon, and Mike competed in the International Kung Fu Master Performance and Championship event in Hong Kong. We brought back two gold, one silver, and one bronze!
April 3, 2010 - The Canada Bak Mei Martial Arts Association has been officially inaugurated in a ceremony and banquet with over 300 guests in attendance, including many Bak Mei disciples and practitioners from around the world. Thank you for your support!
